Today's weekly workout post feels a little bit random but it follows right in line with my workout routine this week, a little bit random. I flipped around my schedule around the last few days and actually enjoyed the change of pace I felt throughout the course of the week!
While I typically take Sunday's as my rest day, I co-hosted and led the first ever Bride Next Door Bridal Bootcamp last weekend so a day off wasn't quite in the cards. Even though it was a little sticky outside, it was a blast to get outdoors for a fun full body workout. I participated in the workout as well and as evident from the constant stream of sweat dripping from my face, it was great workout! I'm grateful for the ladies that came out in the heat to get their sweat on with us.
Tuesday morning my oldest and I had the best intentions and tried to take advantage of the fact that it wasn't 100 degrees outside for a quick playground workout for me plus playtime for my him. It started sprinkling on us about five minutes into our park time. The sprinkle quickly turned into a steady drizzle but we didn't let that stop us. I managed to get in a killer TRX and cardio workout utilizing some of the playground equipment I had in front of me while my son played outside before we both walked home in the then pouring rain. Workout details included below.
With a few additional commitments going on throughout the week, plus a little solo parenting and client sessions, I ended up moving my rest day to mid-week and I can't say I am mad about it! It was nice, for a change, to have a day off right in the middle of the week. While I wasn't as ready for my 5am gym wake up call come Thursday morning, I did have a pretty great cycling workout considering I had taken the previous day as rest.
The rest of my week was a mix of Bodyflow, more cycling and return of strength training sessions from last week's mini hiatus!

As promised, here's my playground workout from Tuesday of this week:
- 20 TRX bicep curl
- 1 minute jumping jacks
- 20 low bar underhand rows
- 1 minute picnic table step ups
- 20 TRX overhead lat row
- 1 minute high knees
- 20 TRX jump squats
- 1 minute incline mountain climbers
- 20 TRX close grip rows
Repeat everything 3x.
